ahhh…the brisbane backyard; here we are monarchs of the back deck, holding court over the crickets, cane toads, cockatoos and canapés… is there anywhere that sums up social life in our city more than the backyard party? of course not!
brisbane festival is once again jumping the fence, invading these suburban kingdoms and bringing some friends over for a bit of a knees up. so grab your friends, family, and esky and pop round to the yeronga for some of the best live music around.

Join your hosts for a fundraising sausage sizzle with cakes and refreshments on sale from 4.00pm to raise money for St Fabian’s Church at Yeerongpilly. Brisbane Festival 2010 welcomes the community to enjoy this event while respecting the property. Please remove any rubbish and be considerate of the hosts.

david de vito will take to the stage first and thrill the crowds with his awe-inspiring voice.
the entertainment kicks off from 5.30pm, at the promenade, sanctuary cove, where you will find us performing on a purpose built stage over on the broadwater.
this is a FREE COMMUNITY EVENT, proudly supported by the rotary club of hope island, gold coast city council and mulpha sanctuary cove. food and beverages are available on the evening.
